NORBIT SubSea AS A new NORBIT company is born. NORBIT SubSea AS will focus on subsea sensor- and communication solutions.
The NORBIT WBMS Sonar is one of the key products in the new company.
The WBMS Sonars from NORBIT are ultra compact sonars designed specifically for use on moving platforms.
NORBITECH AS
NORBIT has, together with local employees, purchased
Kitron Microelectronics AS at Røros. The operation has changed name to NORBITECH AS.
Jørgen Bredesen Kitron CEO expressed the following about the transaction:
"We are very satisfied with the agreement reached and in particular that we
have been able to secure continued operation and employment for the employees
at Røros. We are confident that with NORBIT AS as a strategic partner and significant
shareholder the operation at Røros will have a solid foundation to succeed
outside Kitron."
FENRITS AS
NORBIT has acquired
the majority in FENRITS AS
FENRITS, is highly experienced in microwave based electronic toll collection.
FENRITS has, in cooperation with Lyng, supplied 50% of the AutoPASS tags in circulation in Norway.
FENRITS has supplied Road Side equipment to approximately 60 lanes in the tolling ring in Oslo.
